Metroliner II, ZK-MES (c/n TC-231), the Spirit of Nelson II, entered service on the 21st of September 1987. Competition and other factors saw the routes close on 7 June1988. After attempting to lease it out the aircraft was exported to the USA . 1/72

NSQ and NSS were leased by Air Nelson by Fairchild in Sep 1990 ex Air Metro to cover for the late delivery of NSI and NSJ which were delivered 2 and 3 months later respectively. NSS was sold to Airwork (NZ) Ltd by the lessors on 15 Mar 1991 operating in a number of schemes and is currently with Air Chathams as CID. NSQ stayed on longer being loaned to Eagle Air in Sep 90, returned in Mar 91. It was returned to the lessors in April 92. 1/72

POE and POF came from Airwork and operated from May 99 to Jun 2000. Other Metroliners from Airwork were also used during this period but did not carry the OP scheme. The other three were leased from Air Chathams after that. JSJ was withdrawn in mid 2003. The airline collapsed in 2006 with CIC and JSV re-joining Air Chathams. In 2021 CIC is current with Air Chathams, POE and POF having joined it in recent times. JSJ was sold in 2003 to the UK and JSV was sold in 2007. 1/72
