This is an experiment to promote airliner modelling in New Zealand and will feature only kits that
a. are not otherwise available in NZ; and
b. I can source at a reasonable price from the manufacturer, OR
I have distribution rights to.
This website is set up for sale of decals. The postage system is based on the value of sales (see Postage and Packaging) and works well for decals. Kits are heavier and bulkier so this does not work well.
My clunky solution is to list the kit three times - for NZ customers, for Australian and South Pacific customers (as defined by NZ Post - www.nzpost.co.nz if you wish to check) and rest of the world. The kit price has been artificially raised for the second and third groups to cover the additional postage required.
Some small items have the Australian and South Pacific customers (as defined by NZ Post - www.nzpost.co.nz if you wish to check) and rest of the world combined and show as Overseas.
NOTE: In some cases Overseas is not offered - these are combos where the primary cost item is overseas sourced so it is cheaper for you to go to the manufacturer, local hobby shop or closer internet based shop.
I would be happy to field suggestions for other kit - decal combinations that meet the criteria above. If I get enough consistent requests I will try and source them.

I am NOT interested in sourcing single kits for customers - amongst other things this usually works out expensive as discounts usually only apply to bulk orders.

Update 3/18: Added new Air NZ Dash 8 Trademark Black scheme to the Dash 8 options.
In 2017/8 will be progressively adding new combos based on Welsh Models kits in a two way deal I've done with them. The first Five were the Dash8-300, CV580, Saab340, Andover C1 and Hastings 3. Avro 748 Ser 1 and F27-500 will follow with others to come.

The kit is the 1/144 scale F-RSIN ATR72 plastic smart kit, sans box or decals. This kit has optional propellers so can be made into any variant of the ATR72.
Please note this is a limited injection plastic kit with all the issues that limited injection plastic kits have. It is not a beginners model requiring good modelling skills to complete. There are plenty of online reviews from those who have successfully built it. The kit manufacturer has sold thousands. A difficult kit but it is the only 1/144 plastic injection kit of the ATR72 in this scale.
