This page provides decal sets for NZ commercial jets. The decals have been fitted to the Airfix 737-200 or DACO/Skyline, Minicraft or Welsh 737-300 or -400, Revell A320 and A321, Airfix or Authentic Airliners B727-200 kits in 1/144, and the Hasegawa and/or push-fit kits in 1/200. The decals are also offered in 72nd for the big Welsh kits and should also (with a bit of trimming) fit the old Monogram kit. Air NZ A320s have V2500 engines, the Neos RR Trent 7000s.
The 1/144 BAe146 decals are designed to fit the Welsh 146-2/300 kits and the Revell RJ85 / BAe 146-200 kit modified for -300s with the Welsh conversion kit. There are "push fit" kits available in 1/200.
The A320/A321 decal sets are not full decal sets - they are intended to be used in conjunction with the decal sets provided with the models or an aftermarket details set.

The airline was to serve between Australia and New Zealand and from both to the Islands. The first service was inaugurated on 29 Jan 2004. International services to Fiji commenced in 2004 then Cook Islands and Tonga in 2005. In November 2007 domestic services commenced in NZ between the three main centres. Dunedin was added in July 2008, Queenstown in September 2009 – in both cases domestic and international. In 2009 international services were also commenced out of Hamilton, NZ. In total 10 B737-800 aircraft flew in this livery.
Domestic services ceased on 17 October 2010 . In May 2011 the whole Virgin operation in Australia, NZ and the Pacific was restructured and Pacific Blue ceased to exist under that name. 1/72
